Marbles For Eyes is an indie-alternative band invented and headed up by singer-songwriter Matthew Smith. After a few life-changing events around 2003, Matthew picked up his grandpa’s guitar and started writing songs based on his life experiences, thoughts and beliefs.
A few years later, after playing with several musicians, Smith found a few guys to stick around and play in a full band setting. This was the beginning of what the Marbles For Eyes has become. The big question is always, “what kind of music is it?” Yet one can only answer after experiencing the live sound for themselves. It is an ever evolving music, yet, the song remains the same. It is about a man living and learning and hoping to help others do the same through this artform.
The current line-up includes Caleb Barton on the bass guitar(since 2005), newly added Nathan Zangmeister(producer/guitarist), Tom Anker(lead guitar), and Brent Clark(drums).
